to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality transportation to the citizens
and visitors of the St. Louis area. The Commission is dedicated
to providing fair and equitable authority over the provision of
licensing, regulation, and enforcement of vehicle for hire services
that will contribute to the growth and image of the St. Louis Region.

LICENSING INFORMATION: Starting December 1, 2020 our Temporary hours are Tuesday and Thursday ONLY 8:30-4:00. We will no longer be serving the public on Mondays, Wednesday's and Fridays until further notice.
Drivers can apply, renew, and transfer their MTC license at 2628 Delmar Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63103. Licensing hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm. Drivers arriving after 4:00pm will not be processed on the same day. For more information on licensing click on the licensing tab above.
The Square Credit Card Reader is an approved device of the MTC. CCN Holders must approve use of the device and submit to the Commission documentation of each driver permitted to use the device, as reflected in the Director's rules.

Other Business: The MTC office is accessible by APPOINTMENT ONLY on Tuesday and Thursday. No business will be conducted on a walk-in basis.
(The office will no longer accept personal checks for payment of fees. The only form of payment will be money order, debit / credit card , or CCN holder business check.)
Important Announcements:
CCN Holder’s are allowed to institute a surcharge for a cleanup fee up to $200.00 for soiling the interior of the Vehicle for Hire with bodily fluids. The amount and conditions of such charge must be prominently displayed in the passenger compartment of the Vehicle for Hire where it is easily in view. The signage must be approved by the Director before any such fees become effective. Drivers are forbidden to institute this surcharge without the approved signage in place.
